Data Train has worked with kpi-insight consulting since 2007 supporting the ERP system Deltek Vision. This has ben configured, customised and implemented in close consultation with clients in the UK.

Deltek Vision has a web-based front-end and SQL Server back-end with well over 700 data tables. The system itself is modular offering integrated functionality such as:

• CRM
• Planning
• Project management
• Time and Expense
• Accounting
• Reports

Data Train was tasked with writing a utility to export client plans from Excel and into Vision. This required a detailed understanding of the Vision schema with the code being written in Visual Basic for Applications.

Database systems & software

Data Train specialises in database development focussing on tools such as Microsoft Access, VBA and SQL Server. Automation for MS Office and the creation of bespoke software is also available.

Web-based systems

A number of static websites have been set up, for example an artist and a charity. We can advise on search engine optimisation (SEO). Dynamic sites using .Net technology available soon.
